Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Prosecutions for
offences against this Act may be instituted by the Commissioner or by a
person authorised in writing by the Commissioner, but shall not be instituted
otherwise except with the consent in writing of the Commissioner or of a
person authorised by the Commissioner, by writing, to give such consents.
(2) In proceedings for
an offence against this Act, a document giving consent to the institution of a
prosecution and purporting to have been signed by the Commissioner, or by an
authorised person, is evidence of that consent without proof of the signature.
