Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A person shall not
supply goods in contravention of an order in force under section 23Q or
section 23R of the Consumer Affairs Act 1971 , in this
Act referred to as a banning order.
(2)
If —
(a) a
person supplies goods in contravention of subsection (1); and
(b)
another person suffers loss or damage because of a defect in, or a dangerous
characteristic of, the goods or by not having particular information as to a
characteristic of the goods,
the person who suffers
the loss or damage shall be deemed, for the purposes of this Act, to have
suffered it by the supplying of the goods.
