FISH RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1994 - SECT 97A

97A .         Contravening MEMP, offence

                A person must not contravene a requirement of a MEMP for an aquaculture licence.

        Penalty:

            (a)         for an individual —

                  (i)         for a first offence, a fine of $5 000;

                  (ii)         for a second or subsequent offence, a fine of $10 000;

        (b)         for a body corporate —

                  (i)         for a first offence, a fine of $10 000;

                  (ii)         for a second or subsequent offence, a fine of $20 000.
