Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A management plan
must specify an advisory committee or advisory committees or a person or
persons who are to be consulted before the plan is amended or revoked.
(2) Before amending or
revoking a management plan the Minister must consult with the advisory
committee or advisory committees or the person or persons specified for that
purpose in the plan.
(3) Despite
subsection (2), the Minister may amend a management plan without
consulting in accordance with that subsection if, in the Minister’s
opinion, the amendment is —
(a)
required urgently; or
(b) of a
minor nature.
(4) If —
(a) the
Minister amends a management plan; and
(b) the
amendment is made without consultation because it is, in the Minister’s
opinion, required urgently,
the Minister must
consult with the advisory committee or advisory committees or the person or
persons specified for that purpose in the plan as soon as practicable after
the plan has been amended.
