FISH RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1994 - SECT 187
187 . Warrants to enter and search places
(1) If a justice is
satisfied on an application supported by evidence on oath —
(a) that
there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that there is on or in any place
anything that may afford evidence of the commission of an offence against this
Act; or
(b) that
the issue of the warrant is reasonably required for the purpose of
ascertaining whether a person has contravened or is contravening a provision
of this Act,
the justice may issue
a warrant in the prescribed form authorising a fisheries officer to enter and
search the place —
(c) with
such assistance, and by such force, as is reasonably necessary; and
(d)
during such hours as the warrant specifies, or, if the warrant so specifies,
at any time.
(2) A warrant must
specify —
(a) the
place that may be entered and searched; and
(b) the
time and date at which the warrant ceases to have effect.
