FISH RESOURCES MANAGEMENT ACT 1994 - SECT 183
183 . Powers to enter and search land to investigate offences
A fisheries officer
may, for the purposes of this Act —
(a)
enter any land (other than land appurtenant to any premises) for the purpose
of passing through the land; or
(b)
enter and search any land (other than land appurtenant to any premises) if the
fisheries officer has reasonable grounds to suspect that —
(i)
an offence against this Act has been, is being or is
about to be committed on the land; or
(ii)
there is on the land anything that may afford evidence of
the commission of an offence against this Act.
