Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Unless otherwise
directed in writing by the Treasurer, the accountable authority of a statutory
authority is to prepare annual estimates of the financial operations of the
statutory authority (the annual estimates ) in the manner prescribed by the
Treasurer’s instructions.
(2) The accountable
authority is to submit the annual estimates to the Minister for approval at
the time determined by the Treasurer and in the manner prescribed by the
Treasurer’s instructions.
(3) The Minister
may —
(a)
approve the annual estimates; or
(b)
reject them and require the accountable authority to prepare and submit for
approval amended annual estimates within the period that the Minister directs.
(4)
Subsection (3) also applies to amended annual estimates submitted under
that subsection.
