Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may,
on the recommendation of the Treasurer, authorise expenditure in a financial
year that is not provided for by an appropriation by an Appropriation Act for
that year.
(2) The Treasurer may
authorise expenditure in a financial year that exceeds the amount appropriated
by an Appropriation Act for that year for expenditure of that kind.
(3) Expenditure may be
authorised under subsection (1) or (2) only to make payments in
respect of extraordinary or unforeseen matters.
(4) Payments made
under subsection (1) or (2) in a financial year in respect of
extraordinary or unforeseen matters are —
(a) to
be charged in that year to the Consolidated Account; and
(b) to
be provided for in an Appropriation Act in the next or a later financial year.
