person for any offence whatever under any written law, the court may order
that any firearm or ammunition, silencer or other thing to which this Act
applies relating to the charge shall be forfeited to the Crown, but if it
appears to the court that the firearm or ammunition, silencer or other thing
to which this Act applies belongs to some other person, who is lawfully
entitled to possession and is not guilty of any offence in relation thereto
under this Act, the court shall order the firearm or ammunition, silencer or
other thing to which this Act applies to be delivered to that other person.
