ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1986 - SECT 67
67 . Duties of person ceasing to be owner etc. of land subject to notice registered under s. 66
While an environmental
protection notice remains registered under section 66, each owner or occupier
of the land to which the environmental protection notice relates who does not,
as soon as practicable after ceasing to be such an owner or occupier, notify
in writing —
(a) the
CEO of that fact and of the name and address of each person who succeeds that
owner or occupier in the ownership or occupation or both, as the case
requires, of that land; and
(b) each
person who succeeds that owner or occupier in the ownership or occupation or
both, as the case requires, of that land of the content of the environmental
protection notice and of the fact that the environmental protection notice is
binding on that person,
commits an offence.
