Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) No candidate, and
no person holding any official position in connection with any political
organisation or election committee, shall be appointed an officer under this
Act.
(2) If any such
officer knowingly becomes a candidate, or is elected, appointed, or otherwise
becomes an official of any political organisation or election committee, he
shall be deemed to have vacated the office held by him under this Act, and
some other person shall be appointed in his stead.
