under the control of the Government, or the property of a local government and
all Agricultural Halls, Mechanics’ and Miners’ Institutes, and
other buildings which have been or may hereafter be subsidised in their
erection by the Government, may be used free of charge, for the purposes of
any nomination proceedings or poll.
