EVIDENCE ACT 1906 - SECT 94
94 . Banker’s books, Supreme Court may order inspection of
(1) On the application
of any party to a legal proceeding, the court or a judge of the Supreme Court
may order that such party be at liberty to inspect and take copies of any
entries in a banker’s book relating to the matters in question in such
proceeding.
(2) An order under
this section may be made either with or without summoning the bank or any
other party, and shall be served on the bank by delivering a copy of the order
to an officer of such bank at a principal or a branch office thereof, having
the custody of the book of which inspection is desired, 3 clear days before
the same is to be obeyed, unless the court or judge otherwise directs.
(3) Sunday, Christmas
Day, Good Friday, and any bank holiday shall be excluded from the computation
of time under this section.
