EVIDENCE ACT 1906 - SECT 70
70 . Statutes etc. of any country, proof of
Books purporting to
have been printed or published, whether before or after the commencement of
this Act, under the authority of the Government of any country, or by the
printer to such Government, and purporting to contain Statutes, Ordinances, or
other written laws in force in such country, shall, on production, be admitted
and received by all courts and persons, acting judicially as prima facie
evidence of such laws.
