Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) In this
section —
court officer means —
(a) the
sheriff or a deputy of the sheriff; or
(b) the
Marshal of the Family Court.
(2) A court officer
may exercise the powers set out in Schedules 1 and 3 for the purposes of
providing court security services under an arrangement with the CEO.
(3) A court officer
may exercise the powers set out in Schedules 2 and 3 for the purposes of
providing custodial services under an arrangement with the CEO.
(4) The powers that a
court officer may exercise under this section are in addition to, and do not
derogate from, the powers that the court officer has under any other law.
