COMMUNITY PROTECTION (OFFENDER REPORTING) ACT 2004 - SECT 108
108 . Recognition of protection orders made in other jurisdictions
(1) The regulations
may provide for the recognition in Western Australia of corresponding
protection orders.
(2) In particular, the
regulations may provide for the following matters —
(a)
applications for the recognition in Western Australia of corresponding
protection orders;
(b) the
conferral on courts of jurisdiction with respect to the recognition in Western
Australia of corresponding protection orders;
(c) the
modification of corresponding protection orders for the purposes of their
recognition in Western Australia;
(d) the
effect of the recognition in Western Australia of corresponding protection
orders;
(e) the
conferral on courts of jurisdiction with respect to the variation or
revocation of corresponding protection orders.
