Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Acceptance of or
acting in the office of a member of the Committee by any person does not of
itself render the provisions of Part 3 of the Public
Sector Management Act 1994 , or any other Act applying to persons as
officers of the Public Service of the State, applicable to that person, or
affect or prejudice the application to him of those provisions if they applied
to him at the time of the acceptance of or acting in that office.
(2) Where the services
of any person are for the time being utilised by the Committee under the
provisions of this Act, it does not prejudice that person’s existing or
accruing rights under the Public Sector Management Act 1994 , or under
any other Act, and service rendered on behalf of the Committee pursuant to
this Act shall be regarded as not constituting a break in the service in which
he would otherwise have been employed.
