Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts Where a body has, by
virtue of section 21, the right to submit to the Minister a panel of the
names of persons to be considered for selection and appointment to the
membership of the Committee the Minister may, as the occasion requires, by
notice in writing to a responsible officer of that body request that body to
submit those names within such period of not less than 30 days as is
therein specified and if upon the expiration of that period no person, or no
suitable person, is so nominated the Minister may appoint to membership of the
Committee such person as, having regard to the interests in respect of which
the person was to be so nominated, the Minister thinks fit.
