CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION ACT 2006 - SECT 36
36 . Place or vehicle, entry of to attend to dead or seriously ill or injured person
If an officer
reasonably suspects that there is in a place or vehicle a person who has died
or who is so ill or injured as to be likely to die or suffer permanent injury
to his or her health unless the officer enters the place or vehicle, the
officer may enter the place, or stop and enter the vehicle, in order to
ascertain the facts and if necessary attend to the person.
