Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Commissioner
may hold hearings for the purposes of a special inquiry.
(2) Except as provided
in subsection (3), hearings are to be held in public.
(3) The Commissioner
may direct that a hearing, or any part of a hearing, be held in private if the
Commissioner is satisfied that it is desirable to do so because of the
confidential nature of any evidence or matter or for any other reason.
(4) The Commissioner
has a discretion as to whether any person may appear at a hearing in person or
be represented by another person.
