Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) It is not a
function of the Commissioner to investigate or otherwise deal with a complaint
made by, or any other matter relating to, a particular child or young person.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not preclude the Commissioner from —
(a)
providing a child or young person or his or her family with information about
government and non-government programs and services;
(b)
referring a child or young person or his or her family to such programs or
services; or
(c)
investigating or otherwise dealing with any matter affecting the wellbeing of
children and young people generally which is raised through a matter relating
to a particular child or young person.
