Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Commission
may, in writing, appoint persons or classes of persons to be authorised
persons for the purposes of this Part.
(2) Subject to
subsection (4), the Commission shall issue to each person who is
authorised to serve infringement notices under section 29H a certificate
stating that the person is so authorised, and the authorised person shall
produce the certificate whenever required to do so by a person to whom he or
she has given, or is about to give, an infringement notice.
(3) A person who is
authorised to serve infringement notices under section 29H is not
eligible to be an authorised person for the purposes of any other section in
this Part.
(4)
Subsection (2) does not apply to a member of the Police Force who is
authorised to serve infringement notices under section 29H.
