contract includes any kind of agreement or
arrangement;
controlled contract means a contract —
(a) that
relates wholly or partly to the supply of goods or services to a licensed
casino or to any other matter that is prescribed as a controlled matter for
the purposes of this definition; and
(b) that
provides for the payment, or receipt, by a party to the contract of an amount
that exceeds, or amounts that together exceed, the amount that is determined
from time to time by the Commission for the purposes of this definition and
published by notice in the Gazette ,
but does not include —
(c) a
contract that relates solely to the construction of a casino or to the
alteration of premises used or to be used as a casino;
(d) a
casino complex agreement;
(e) a
lease; or
(f) a
contract of a class that is prescribed as exempt from this definition.
