Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) All rent and other
moneys payable under any lease granted by the former Minister, the former
Authority or the Corporation under the provisions of section 84 shall,
until the execution of a release as hereinbefore mentioned or the expiration
of 25 years from the taking of possession of the land leased by the
former Minister, the former Authority or the Corporation, whichever first
happens, upon receipt thereof by the Corporation be applicable —
Firstly — in defraying the
expenses of and incidental to the giving of the notices required by
section 85, and the execution of the lease and the collection of the
rents; and
Secondly — in payment to the
Corporation of all moneys due in respect of the land leased and in arrear and
in payment of all moneys from time to time accruing due on the land.
(2) Any residue of the
moneys shall belong to such person as would, when they respectively were
received, have been entitled to receive the rents and profits of the land if
this Act had not been passed.
