provided, and to section 28(2) and Part IV of the Water Agencies
(Powers) Act 1984 the Corporation, on receiving from the owner or
occupier any land referred to in section 28(1) a written request for a
supply of water, shall as soon as conveniently may be, provide, lay down to
the nearest point on the boundary of the land and fix the communication pipe
and fittings necessary for complying with the request.
