86 . Warrant (apprehension) where child absent or taken without authority
(1) If an authorised
officer or a police officer believes on reasonable grounds that a child is
absent, or has been taken, without lawful authority from a place where the
child was living under a placement arrangement the officer may apply to a
judge or magistrate for a warrant (apprehension).
(2) An application
under subsection (1) must be made in accordance with section 120.
(3) On an application
made under subsection (1) a judge or magistrate may issue a warrant
(apprehension) if the judge or magistrate is satisfied that there are
reasonable grounds for the belief mentioned in that subsection.
