141 . Confidentiality of report
(1) A person who
prepares or is given a report must not, without the leave of the Court,
disclose information contained in it to another person.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $6 000.
(2) Nothing in
subsection (1) prevents the CEO disclosing information contained in a report
—
(a) to
—
(i)
an authorised officer at any time; or
(ii)
any other person, after the relevant protection
proceedings have concluded,
if the CEO considers
that it is appropriate to do so; or
(b) to a
public authority, a corresponding authority, or an interested person under
section 23.
(3) Nothing in
subsection (1) prevents a person disclosing information contained in a report
to the person’s legal representative.
