CONSTITUTION ACTS AMENDMENT ACT 1899 - SECT 44

44 .         No person to draw salaries for 2 offices

                If any person accepts any 2 or more of the offices liable to be vacated on political grounds, it shall not be competent for him to receive the salary of more than one office.
