Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Court may, on
the application of any party to an arbitration agreement, and subject to and
in accordance with rules of court, issue a subpoena requiring a person to
attend for examination before the arbitrator or umpire or requiring a person
to attend for examination before the arbitrator or umpire and to produce to
the arbitrator or umpire the document or documents specified in the subpoena.
(2) A person shall not
be compelled under any subpoena issued in accordance with subsection (1)
to answer any question or produce any document which that person could not be
compelled to answer or produce on the trial of an action.
