Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Minister may
appoint an officer of the Department to be deputy of the Chairman, and in the
absence from a meeting of the Chairman, the officer is entitled to attend the
meeting and exercise the powers and duties of the Chairman.
(2) The Minister may
appoint a person to be a deputy of a member of the Committee.
(3) A person appointed
to be a deputy of a member of the Committee under subsection (2) is, in
the absence of that member, entitled to attend that meeting and when so
attending shall be deemed to be a member of the Committee.
