COMPANIES (CO-OPERATIVE) ACT 1943 - SECT 8

8 .         Saving of Acts

                Nothing in this Act shall affect the provisions of —

            (a)         the Associations Incorporation Act 1895 ⁷ ;

            (b)         the Trade Union Act 1902 ⁸ ;

            (c)         the Life Assurance Companies Act 1889 ; or

            (d)         the Act 8 William IV., No. 1 ⁹ which relates to Banks and Banking Companies.
