CONSTITUTION ACT 1889 - SECT 58
58 . Courts of justice, commissions, officers, etc.
All Courts of Civil
and Criminal Jurisdiction, and all legal commissions, powers, and authorities,
and all officers, judicial, administrative, or ministerial, within the Colony
at the commencement of this Act shall except in so far as they are abolished,
altered, or varied by this or any future Act of the Legislature of the Colony
or other competent authority, continue to subsist in the same form and with
the same effect as if this Act had not been passed.
