Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts The members of
the Legislative Council shall, upon their first assembly after the
general election, proceed forthwith to elect one of their number to be
President; and in case of his death, resignation, or removal by a vote of the
Council, the members shall again elect one of their number to be President.
The President so elected shall preside at all meetings of the said Council.
