Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make regulations prescribing all matters that are required or permitted by
this Act to be prescribed, or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for
giving effect to the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1), the regulations may —
(a)
provide for the care, control and management of the designated land;
(b)
provide for the conservation of the natural environment, landscape features,
amenity and biological diversity of the designated land;
(c) for
the purpose of conserving the natural environment, landscape features, amenity
and biological diversity of the designated land, prohibit, restrict or
regulate the access of persons or animals to any part of the land;
(d)
prohibit, restrict or regulate the use, driving, parking, standing or leaving
of vehicles on any part of the designated land;
(e)
without limiting section 10(2)(i), (j) and (k), provide for the
imposition and payment of fees and charges; and
(f)
provide that contravention of a regulation constitutes an offence and provide
for a penalty not exceeding $2 000 in respect of any such offence.
