Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Authority is
to issue to a park management officer an identity card stating that he or she
has been designated as a park management officer.
(2) An identity card
is to be in a form approved by the Authority.
(3) A park management
officer must produce the identity card whenever requested to do so by any
person in respect of whom the officer has exercised, or is about to exercise,
a power under section 28 or 51.
(4) Production of an
identity card is evidence in any court of the designation of the park
management officer to whom the identity card relates.
(5) A person who
ceases to be a park management officer must, as soon as practicable, return
his or her identity card to the chief executive officer or other person
authorised to receive it.
Penalty: $1 000.
(6) This section does
not apply to a park management officer who is a police officer.
