Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Notwithstanding
anything in this Part where a group of producers of agricultural produce
applies to the Commission for the performance by the Commission of the
functions of the Commission under this Act in relation to that group of
producers and the Commission is satisfied that a producers’ committee
has not been established under this Act in relation to that group of
producers for the agricultural produce in question the Commission may with the
approval of the Minister perform such functions in relation to the group of
producers as are referred to in the application subject to such terms and
conditions, including the payment of charges, as are approved by the Minister.
(2) Where the
Commission performs any function or renders any service under
subsection (1) each member of the group of producers is jointly and
severally liable for such payment of charges (if any) that are payable under
the terms and conditions approved under that subsection.
