deputy for an appointed member, in his capacity as member or deputy, is not a
public service officer under the provisions of the
Public Sector Management Act 1994 4 , but if at the time of his
appointment as member or deputy under this Act, he is a public service
officer, his appointment shall be deemed to be without prejudice to his rights
under the Public Sector Management Act 1994 4 , or any other Act applying
to him as a public service officer.
