Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor
may appoint one of the appointed members to be chairman and another appointed
member to be vice chairman.
(2) (a)
The member so appointed holds office as chairman
or vice chairman as the case may be for the term of his office as member.
(b)
When the member ceases to hold office as chairman
or vice chairman as the case may be before the expiration of the term for
which he is appointed another appointed member may be appointed chairman or
vice chairman by the Governor for the unexpired portion of the term of office
of the person in whose place he is appointed.
(c)
The chairman or vice chairman may resign his
office as chairman or vice chairman by notice in writing addressed to the
Governor in Council.
(d)
If at any time the chairman or vice chairman
ceases to be a member, he ceases to be chairman or vice chairman.
