Western Australian Consolidated Acts A person shall not,
for any purpose or in any manner, —
(a)
bring into the State from elsewhere any animal that is a declared animal of
category A4 in respect of the whole of the State; or
(b)
bring into a part of the State from another part of the State, or from
elsewhere, an animal that is a declared animal of category A4 in respect of
the first-mentioned part of the State,
unless that animal is
brought into the State or that part of the State, as the case may be, subject
to and in accordance with the conditions and restrictions imposed by or under
the regulations in relation to the introduction of animals of that class.
Penalty: For a first offence under
paragraph (a) or (b), not more than $1 000; for any subsequent
offence under the same paragraph, not more than $5 000.
