Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor, by
notice published in the Gazette , may declare anything to be a natural enemy
of a declared plant or declared animal and prohibit the destruction, injuring
and capturing of that thing in any area specified in the notice.
(2) A notice published
under subsection (1) may be varied or revoked by a subsequent notice so
published.
(3) Any person who
without lawful excuse —
(a)
destroys, injures or captures any thing contrary to a notice under
subsection (1); or
(b) is
in possession of any thing that has been captured contrary to a notice under
subsection (1),
commits an offence.
Penalty: $500.
