Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts The members of a
committee may elect one of their number to be the chairman of the committee
and a member so elected shall hold office as chairman for a term of
3 years from the date of his election unless during that
term —
(a) his
office as a member of the committee becomes vacant whether by effluxion of
time or otherwise; or
(b) he
resigns his office as chairman of the committee by writing addressed to the
executive officer of the authority.
