an adoption order, the Court may —
(a)
order the attendance of any witness, and for that purpose may direct the issue
and service upon the witness of a summons in the prescribed form; and
(b) take
oral evidence upon oath or evidence by affidavit on any matter relevant to the
proceedings before the Court.
