parentage set out in Part 5 Division 11 Subdivision 3 of the
Family Court Act 1997 apply when considering, for the purposes of this
Act, who is —
(a) a
parent of a person who is a prospective adoptee; or
(b) a
birth parent of a person who is an adoptee.
