Retail Trading Hours Amendment Bill 2003
A Bill for
An Act to amend the Retail Trading Hours Act 1987.
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Retail Trading Hours Amendment
5 Act 2003.
2. Commencement
This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives
the Royal Assent.

3. The Act amended
The amendment in this Act is to the Retail Trading Hours
Act 1987*.

5 4. Section 12 amended
Section 12 is amended by inserting after subsection (1b) the
following new subsection --
"
(1c) An order made under subsection (1a) or an amendment
10 or revocation made under subsection (1b) is to be
regarded as a regulation for the purposes of section 42
of the Interpretation Act 1984.
".
