Pipeline Corridor) Bill 2002
A Bill for
An Act to excise areas from certain reserves forming part of the
conservation estate along the Dampier to Bunbury natural gas
pipeline corridor.
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1 -- Preliminary
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Reserves (Dampier to Bunbury
Natural Gas Pipeline Corridor) Act 2002.
5 2. Commencement
This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives
the Royal Assent.
3. Definition
In this Act --
10 "Commission" means the Conservation Commission of
Western Australia established by section 18 of the
Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.
4. Plans held in DOLA graphic bank
The plans referred to in this Act are held in the graphic bank
15 within the Department of Land Administration.

Part 2 -- Excision of land from reserves
5. Reserve no. 27219 (Minyulo nature reserve)
(1) In subsection (2) --
"the reserve" means class A reserve no. 27219 comprising
5 199.762 9 ha of land that is --
(a) reserved for the conservation of flora and fauna; and
(b) vested in the Commission.
(2) The reserve is amended by excising an area of 6.855 5 ha as
shown on Deposited Plan 29769 so that the reserve comprises
10 192.907 4 ha.
6. Reserve no. 31809 (Badgingarra national park)
(1) In subsection (2) --
"the reserve" means class A reserve no. 31809 comprising
13 120.553 6 ha of land that is --
15 (a) reserved for the purpose of a national park; and
(b) vested in the Commission.
(2) The reserve is amended by excising an area of 12.799 ha as
shown on Deposited Plan 29771 so that the reserve comprises
13 107.754 6 ha.
20 7. Reserve no. 46122 (Cane River reserve)
(1) In subsection (2) --
"the reserve" means reserve no. 46122 comprising 147 843 ha
of land that is --
(a) reserved for the purpose of a conservation park; and
25 (b) vested in the Commission.
(2) The reserve is amended by excising an area of 268.581 3 ha as
shown on Deposited Plan 29774 so that the reserve comprises
147 574.418 7 ha.
