Daylight Saving Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2007
A Bill for
An Act to amend the Daylight Saving Act 2006 by providing for the
months of February and March to be removed from the Daylight
Saving trial and any future Daylight Saving model introduced in
accordance with the Daylight Saving Act 2006.
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Part 1 -- Preliminary
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Daylight Saving Amendment Act
(No. 2) 2007.
5 2. Commencement
The provisions of this Act shall come into operation on the day
on which it receives the Royal Assent.

3. The Act amended
The amendments in this Part are to the Daylight Saving Act
2006.
5 4. Section 4 amended
Section 4 is amended by deleting paragraphs (b) and (c) and
inserting instead --
"
(b) the hour of 2 a.m. on 28 October 2007 until the
10 hour of 2 a.m. on 27 January 2008; and
(c) the hour of 2 a.m. on 26 October 2008 until the
hour of 2 a.m. on 25 January 2009,
".
5. Section 5 amended
15 (1) Section 5(2) is amended by deleting "March" and inserting
instead --
" January ".
(2) Section 5(3)(a) is amended by deleting "March" and inserting
instead --
20 " January ".
(3) Section 5(3)(b) is amended by deleting "March" and inserting
instead --
