Dental Prosthetists Amendment Bill 2003
A Bill for
An Act to amend the Dental Prosthetists Act 1985
The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows --
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Dental Prosthetists Amendment
5 Act 2003.

2. Commencement
This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives
Royal Assent.
3. Principal Act
5 The amendments in this Act are to the Dental Prosthetists
Act 1985.
4. Section 3 amended
(1) Section 3(1) is amended in the definition of "full artificial
denture" by deleting "full" and "all of the".
10 (2) Section 3(3) is amended as follows --
(a) in paragraph (a) by deleting "full";
(b) in paragraph (b) by deleting "full";
(c) at the end of paragraph (b) by deleting the comma and
inserting a full stop instead; and
15 (d) by deleting "but the fitting or inserting of an artificial
denture or mouthguard shall not be taken to include any
adjustment or alteration to the natural teeth or any tissue
of the mouth.".
5. Section 18 amended
20 (1) Section 18(1) is amended by deleting "(1)" before "Where the
Commissioner".
(2) Section 18(2) is repealed.
6. Section 19 amended
Section 19 is amended by deleting "full".
