              Amendment Bill 2005


                               A Bill for


An Act to amend the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act
2004.



The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.      Short title
        This is the Community Protection (Offender Reporting)
        Amendment Act 2005.

     2.       Commencement
              This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the
              Royal Assent.

     3.       Principal Act
 5            In this Act the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act
              2004 is referred to as the principal Act.

     4.       Schedule 2 amended
              The principal Act is amended in Schedule 2 by deleting
              "Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games)
10            Enforcement Act 1996" and substituting the following --
              "   Censorship Act 1996    ".
