Powers of Amalgamating Institutes

60. Powers of Amalgamating Institutes

Despite anything to the contrary in the constitution or Memorandum and
Articles of Association of an Amalgamating Institute or its Council or
governing body, the Institute, Council or body shall be deemed to have, and
always to have had power to do all things it is authorised or empowered to do
under or for the purposes of this Act or necessary to be done for the purpose
of establishing the University in accordance with this Act.
