TRANSPORT (TICKETING) REGULATIONS 2006 (SR NO 86 OF 2006) - REG 8
Obligation to produce a ticket valid for entry to a designated area(1) An authorised person (ticketing) may ask a person who—
(a) is in; or
(b) has just left—
a designated area, to produce for inspection a ticket that is or was (as the case requires) valid for that entry to the designated area.
(2) A person must without delay comply with a request made under sub-regulation (1).
Penalty: 5 penalty units.
Note: Regulation 13 sets out a defence that may apply in respect of this sub-regulation.
